Random Acts of Flowers: Indianapolis

#HaveYouHerd: November is National Gratitude Month, and in that spirit, we’re dedicating today’s #FridayFocus to Random Acts of Flowers (RAF), a nonprofit organization that recycles flowers and delivers them to individuals in health care facilities. Their goal is to help improve the emotional health and wellness of patients through to the power of plants.

According to the RAF website, “Almost 95% of respondents self-reported that the unexpected delivery from Random Acts of Flowers improved their overall emotional wellness.”

RAF is headquartered in Knoxville, TN, but their Indianapolis location has made a tremendous impact on our city. Since 2016, the Indy location has delivered over 69,500 bouquets and re-purposed 69,000 vases. In that same time period, volunteers have accumulated over 22,500 hours to support the organization. With the help of volunteers and donors, RAF continues to uplift and inspire recipients all over Indianapolis.
