The Lynn Park Project

Today’s #FridayFocus is on The Lynn Park Project.
The Lynn Park Project is a community-focused initiative that encourages kids of all ages to stay active and to interact with others, bringing a sense of unity to the Haughville community.

This community event was created by @Teddrick Hardy, who grew up on the westside of Indianapolis in the Haughville neighborhood. He has become a staple in the community and hosts the Lynn Park Project every Sunday.

In an era where human interaction is diminished by the constant use of electronics and social media, the Lynn Park Project encourages real live interaction amongst its community members. This all-age Sunday Funday event is free to attend and includes games such as kickball and water balloon fights, food, great conversation and more. The Lynn Park Project is in its third year of operation and since it’s launch, has been able to extend its reach by providing students with free school supplies in addition to teaching the meaning and value of teamwork through group activities.

If you’re looking for a fun-filled day for your family, check out the Lynn Park Project for your next Sunday Funday outing! Visit their Facebook page to learn more about upcoming events:
