August Feature - Holli Harrington

As Senior Director of Strategic Alliance for the Indianapolis Airport Authority, Holli Harrington oversees federal compliance programs and leads efforts that connect businesses and workers to economic and workforce development opportunities throughout the airport ecosystem. Her work helps shape an environment where employees, passengers, visitors and vendors feel welcomed, valued and supported.

Holli joined the Indianapolis Airport Authority in 2013 after spending 21 years at Eli Lilly and Company. A Howard University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, she brought decades of experience in highly technical and operational industries into the aviation sector. Her leadership at the airport has since earned national recognition, building on more than three decades of expertise across business development, procurement, compliance, human resources, information technology, manufacturing and engineering.

Her commitment to opportunity extends beyond the airport, as she serves on several civic and community boards, including the Indiana Civil Rights Commission and the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council. She is also board president of the Minority Engineering Program of Indianapolis, an advisor to the Indy Aviation Career Education Academy and a volunteer with the Center for Leadership Development.

Holli’s leadership reflects the broader work required to strengthen Black business: opening doors, creating pathways and ensuring opportunity is supported by systems designed to help people succeed.
